Small Size measures at 1.5" wide (in between the ears) & 4" wide (forehead); fits x-small, small and some medium breeds (yorkies, chihuahuas, jack russell, pugs, etc).
 
Large Size measures at 2" wide between the ears and 8-1/2" across the forehead; fits medium/large breeds (labradors, collies, boxers, etc).
